Tuesday June 29, Powow presents for members-only: "Personal Brand Management" at The Hired Guns Academy with Allison Hemming (NYC) - 6pm.
Your personal brand matters, whether you're working at an organization, as a freelance consultant, looking for a job, or are out there launching a new non-profit on your own. To help you define and project your personal brand more effectively, The Hired Guns Academy (think: finishing school for working professionals) has agreed to create a Powwow members-only version of their highly successful "Personal Brand Management" class.
On Tuesday, June 29th, 2010, get ready for a class that will challenge you to hold up the mirror and take an up-close-and-personal look at what you have to offer the world. In the class, you'll get in touch with your unique value proposition, understand your competitive set, learn how to best articulate your "brand" essence and ultimately start to position yourself as a brand internally and externally. Part personal discovery/part networking, it'll be a fun night where you'll also get to know your fellow Powwow members better and where you'll give your career the focus and attention it deserves.
